PROJECT OVERVIEW:
Horatio Limited delivered the construction of the 100-bed Duchess International Hospital, a state-of-the-art healthcare facility offering advanced multi-specialty medical services. The project was completed in October 2020 for the Reddington Hospital Group.
Located in the heart of Lagos Mainland, the hospital was designed to serve local communities while also providing a viable alternative to medical travel outside Nigeria.
THE CHALLENGE:
The client required a modern healthcare facility with high-level engineering precision, seamless MEP integration, compliance with international standards and the ability to support complex clinical operations.
THE HORATIO SOLUTION
Horatio deployed a multidisciplinary team of engineers, builders and fit-out specialists to handle the project from structure to commissioning. This led to the execution of the full structural, MEP and interior works required for the hospital’s delivery.

Construction of the main hospital building with reinforced structural systems including 100 fully ensuite patient rooms
Full MEP installation, including medical gas systems, HVAC, electrical and plumbing
State-of-the-art operating theatres, recovery wards and diagnostics facilities

External works, access routes and drainage systems
